Our free collection service is based on volume and distance. But we have to make sure the books balance both financially and environmentally. Simply put, the more we're able to collect, the further we can travel.

Step 1 - The Collection

'We Save Gadgets' is an Independent IT asset recycling company based in Devon. We offer WEEE collection services for both Business & Education across the *UK.

'We Save Gadgets' are fully insured, licensed upper-tier waste carriers and have a current T11 exemption for the refurbishment and recycling of WEEE.

We also offer advanced services for more complex situations,

What we collect

Step 2 - Data Destruction

...is our priority with every job we undertake. Nothing is sorted or sold until every shred of data is gone forever. Depending on the type of device, we use various techniques, from software to shredding, to ensure nothing is left behind.

We also offer a stand-alone secure data destruction service across the UK. We work with solicitors, liquidation firms, and Charities to retrieve, store, and destroy sensitive information. Contact us 'Now'.

Step 3 - The Sort

Refurbish

Once all the data has been destroyed, our team book everything in, and go about removing any identify asset tags or markers and categorising everything we have collected. Now everything has been checked and accounted for. We will provide you with a final waste transfer note listing serial numbers and item totals.

We follow the environmental agency's WEEE directive BATRRT. Anything that can be saved as a whole item and remarketed is. Our team repair, test, and clean a whole host of Technology if it has a market value we will try and save it.

Repurpose

Just like a Car scrapyard, we harvest as many usable parts as possible, some of which we keep for future repairs. The rest gets resold to other technicians and hobbyists across the globe. The more we can acquire, The more gadgets we might be able to save.

Recycle

Unfortunately, some items just can't be saved or simply don't have a commercial value even if we could save them. For these items, the only option is to recycle. Every motherboard, cable even the screws are recycled. We work hard to make sure nothing goes to landfill.

Working with charities

We have been directly working with various Charitable organisations for the last few years. We Save Gadgets directly purchase gadgets and games that not every organisation is skilled-up to test, repair, or clear a donor's personal data.

Focusing on Video games and consoles but expanding to other gadgets and tech, we have refined our service to maximise the number of items we can save.

We use third-party guides to price items. This ensures that we are always paying a fair market price.
